Khan Academy is a FREE online program that can support you and your child in their math journey. Of course we highly recommend this platform as an educational tool to support and enrich your student’s math journey. It offers a placement activity to determine what math level your child is and offers practice activities, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard just for your child that empowers your child to study and learn at their own pace. I cannot recommend Khan Academy enough to support struggling students and also push my high achievers and offer enrichment.

It take less than two minutes to start a free account, you will have a parent dashboard that will show you what areas and skills your student has mastered and where they may still need support. The best part is that you have free access to this user friendly information. You can then use this information to support your child. There are videos you can watch together if they are struggling, practice activities, step by step explanations on the skill. Also, how many times has your child come to you and you were not sure how to solve the problem? Just use the search bar in Khan Academy type in any topic or question you have and all the resources on that specific topic will pop up!! So easy for anyone to offer help on homework!
